My good friend and housemate JENNY. Has cirrhosis of the liver. She probably only has about 6 months left to live. Anyway she's doing lots of sleeping which is one of the side effects. We are all very concerned with her. She does believe in God and she knows that she's going to heaven. But I am asking for prayer to make her last days on Earth comfortable for her and not in intensive pain. She's become a good friend and I will definitely miss her lots. My housemates need prayer. GINA, the one that has treated me so poorly. She has cancer in her body and her leg is very sore. Just this week her car broke down and she has no money to get a new battery. Or to get it repaired in some way.
SAM, does lots of yelling and screaming with his wife Gina. He also has brand new dentures and needs support in learning how to use them properly. My internet friend Roger. Praise for him finding friends through his church and they've started sharing each week a big praise for him. Since he's single and lives alone. My friend that I have met on the internet, his name is Chris. He's had a fractured ankle for now probably 4 months and it's still hurting him. Most of his jobs are standing upright. So his ankle is very important for his jobs. He's a person that at least believes that there is a God.
Of all the people that are praying for him. It's pushing him more for believing in Jesus as his Savior. The last thing he said to me, was "I desire to be a blessing to the people around me.
Please, pray for God to do that for me". My Internet friend ROGER, from Tacoma WA. Is out of a job now because of retirement of his boss. He does custodial work mostly floors. He has not had any success yet. My physical body is just plain out this going downhill. I lower back is still in pain and my knees to my toes are still in lots of pain. I did have a different doctor appointment and he suggested other things.
Tuesday I swallowed a vitamin and it did not go down my throat. My landlord was there and he gave me the thrust and it came out. So one more great point for my landlord being there. David Piles - pray that today's right hip replacement surgery at Providence St. Peter Hospital will heal successfully (it's the 3rd replacement on his right hip)
Sally Dunn - praise for successful carpal tunnel surgery on right hand today, 8/16; pray for God's healing touch as she recovers
JLynn Emmons - Transferred to Panorama Rehab 8/11/23; pray for successful PT & encouragement (fell & had partial hip replacement surgery 8/7)
Esther & Gerry Penner & their daughter Wendy Yancey - pray for health & for safe return to Olympia this weekend
Esther Higley - at Puget Sound Health Care - pray for God's healing touch, for appetite to improve, & encouragement for her & husband Bob (fell 7/31/23; partial hip replacement 8/2/23)

Tony Bishop (Sue Barwick’s cousin in Calif.) – pray for strength & balance as he recovers from serious case of Covid/infections/pneumonia; has been hospitalized since 6/16; please also pray for encouragement & peace
Mike (Bev Weld’s son-in-law) – went home to Jesus 7/23; praise that he is with Jesus; continue prayer for wisdom & comfort for his family; memorial this Saturday (8/19)
