Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! Update on my housemate Jenny. She is still very sick with a failed liver. She's in her last year of life. She's recently had to have a new license certified. This coming Friday, she will take both a written and driving test. She needs prayer that she will pass. Also that everything else will go through so that she can still drive. This is very important to her. Just overall prayer for her body to be healthy enough to walk back and forth and all that she does. She does have help but she likes to be able to be independent.
She does enjoy watching Christian movies late at night if she's going to sleep. Thank you for your prayers. Update for myself rebecca. My legs continue to grow worse with being totally enlarged and swelling on my right leg it's all the way up to my knee. I still have not been able to get into a doctor I have talked to nurse line three or four times. So my appointment is actually next thursday. Which would be in august. I'm having cataract surgery in August and so I'm look getting dates setting place for to have rides for most of those appointments. Is surprising how many appointments you need just to have a 15 minute surgery done on your eyes. My back is still hurting. I'm still trying to track down ways to get to the chiropractor (rides wise). Update for Roger. He has made new friends from his church, including his once a week zoom prayer meeting. So, he still needs prayer for having a job for the month starting in August 2023. He's hoping that his current employer will keep him on for just a small 3 years until he can retire through Social Security. Eileen just had her back fracture fixed on Friday- most of the pain is gone, PTL! Pray that the families at Evergreen Vista come to know Jesus
Pray that our family members across the globe will know Jesus as their savior. Corry has had two concussions and had pneumonia. We are recovering but pray for protection for Corry from falling. Corry O’Brien – Pray for his health & encouragement & wisdom for doctors; he has had 2 concussions; recently fell backwards, was unconscious, & 911 called (while at a rest stop in Moses Lake enroute to a vacation). He ended up in the hospital in Moses Lake for 4 days.
Sheryl O’Brien – Pray for health recovery & encouragement; in Moses Lake Hospital for 5 days with pneumonia, congestive heart failure & a slow bleed requiring a transfusion. Returned home rather than continuing planned vacation.
Patsy Bennett – at Mother Joseph’s working with PT for strength & balance as she recovers from fractured hip surgery on 6/30/23; pray for protection from Covid as there are currently 20# cases there
Sally Gallagher – praise that she was able to come to church 7/15; continue prayer for strength & balance as she continues doing her exercises & PT (shoulder fractured 4/19)
Ulli Schluter– praise for return to church; continue prayer for full recovery from surgery on 5/8/23 related to fractured tibia & fibula (~4/30/23).
Tony Bishop (Sue Barwick’s cousin in Calif.) – pray for strength & balance as he recovers from serious case of Covid/infections/pneumonia; has been hospitalized since 6/16; please also pray for encouragement & peace
Mike (Bev Weld’s son-in-law) – has had discussion regarding Hospice; cancer quite invasive; continue prayer for wisdom & peace for him & his family (they are committed believers)
Laurie Kale – pray for chemotherapy to be successful & for side effects to be manageable (she’s feeling nauseated tonight 7/19); pray for encouragement & peace for Laurie & Rich
Peggy Miller – happy to be home since 7/7; pray for improved health, strength & balance for mobility & encouragement
Mary Lou Rochon – continue prayer for her home to sell soon & encouragement in her adjustment to blindness
Joyce Mallinger – at home working with PT (knee surgery 3/30; pray for full recovery & encouragement through the process
Update with Internet friend, CHRIS. He has had a leg injury. The injury is almost totally healed. He still needs prayers to stop his chain smoking addiction. Thanks for your prayers. Update for JENNY.
