He learned today (1/18) that there was no cancer in the thyroid!! Which means he won't need a second surgery. Thank you for your prayers for my mother and my travels. Yesterday afternoon, Jan 5, Mom peacefully passed into the Lord's presence, surrounded by her family. In this time we have seen God's faithfulness and tender care. I'm thankful that travels went well and that there were not any delays (across three different flights), allowing me to spend good time with her. While grieving her loss we are thankful for the life she now enjoys and give praise to God for His goodness and His gift of salvation. We are currently working out arrangements for a memorial service, and will update as this information becomes available. Peggy Miller - please pray for successful kidney lithotripsy surgery scheduled for 11am on Thursday, 1/5 - for wisdom for doctors, no complications & for peace for Peggy.
Ernie Marinig - praise for progress being made with physical therapy; can do some weight bearing now; continue prayer for good rehab outcome & strength for the extended process.

Sky - 21 year old living in AZ who had heart & kidney transplant on Nov. 26. Pray for her & her family's encouragement & wisdom for her healthcare team; she's had MANY complications - most recent is fluid in her chest which is putting pressure on her new heart & a blood clot in her right arm.
Don Tripp (close friend of Tom & Sue Barwick) - had both knees replaced on Dec 13. Pray for successful rehab while he stays with his daughter in Hawaii.

Please pray for my Mother Darlene Holden. She has been sick with a fever since Sunday. She was hospitalized yesterday. Her fever is going from 101-103. She is a cancer patient. They are going to transport her by Ambulance to Emory in Atlanta, GA. Please pray it's nothing serious & that the fever will break. She is now incoherent and on Oxygen. Worse than yesterday. Please help me pray. Prayer for wife Crystal, who has fallen away from faith and is in serious need of prayer.
